I was practicing perspective with this one. I also wanted to try something different with the clouds. So, this isn’t really a traditional wet on wet landscape. It was really fun painting it though.
I had fun making the waves on the river as well. Then I thought about my granddad and how we’d always go fishing. I was going to add another fishing pole but instead I wanted to add the “lone fisherman” type of idea and a kid shouldn’t be out too late at night. I’ll try something similar in the daytime next time.
