My cousin talked to me one night about creating a gold piece and I started something. I wanted to have fun doing it and out came that background. This was my first time painting gold, so I struggled at first — gold is a bunch of browns and yellows with a hint of black and other colors replicating the gold effect.
The part that hits the most about this piece are the braces. I needed to show some form of correction, and I had braces in High school so me and anyone that has gone through the same can relate.
Although these are paper prints, I still hope you cherish it — because once they’re gone, they’re gone. These will never be printed again. And if for some reason they ever did return, they would never be this price again.
